Of course our priorities in flute crafting are 1) top sound, 2) exact tuning and 3) appealing finish
Beyond the immediate joy of playing this easy-to-learn instrument:
 Discover the unique breath awareness that grows along with flute playing!

 Order a flute readymade or to be crafted to your requirements, your own design, from your
choice of bamboo, - Assam bamboo – South Indian bamboo – Leopard bamboo from Borneo,
 in almost any key, plain or with artistic decorum, all made from well seasoned bamboos.

 Choose between
 Indian side flutes, Bansuris,
 Japanese Shaku Hachis and Kyotakus,
side flutes with a Chinese sound modification,
 vertical reed flutes, Neys, North African or Iranian style,
Indian Vamshas, ancient predecessors of the Ney, made from bamboo and

         our speciality, Amasonnu flutes - vertical ones are       .
 ergonomically shaped, sound like Shaku Hachi, usually easier to play than S.H.,
6 finger holes, tuned to the western concert pitch, with
 individually designed bird heads and/or mother of pearl inlays -

sound is warm, deep and full, the soothing ‘water breath’

While you could transpose, f. i., a pentatonic scale through various keys with ease
the sound may vary from a warm and deep hollowness to a filigree higher octave,
smooth transitions from low to high volume in all octaves possible
 - depending solely on your playing – the ‘air breath’

Our unique Amasonnu side-flutes, travelling size, strong south Indian bamboo:
warm and fat sound, top ends with mother of pearl inlays, some set in wooden rings

         choose either reed, cane or bamboo,                                     sheaths/ covers
         all sizes with the typical breathy Ney sound.                                        palm leaf / velvet

         The Vamsha/ bamboo is stronger then the reed
           and cane variety and requires the ‘fire breath’

Each flute is individually handcrafted here by an experienced musician/ flute maker.
We keep a stock of popular designs and keys ready such as medium size Bansuris,
